My love for photography started 30 years ago when my first child Payton was born! My most important accomplishment in life has been raising three amazing kids (Payton, Dylan & Sydnie) with my husband Darin and watching them grow into the kind, beautiful, and creative adults they are today :) I’m so thankful that I realized long ago that their childhood would go by so quickly and that I purchased numerous canon cameras throughout the years and literally took thousands and thousands of pictures of them growing up, capturing every birthday party, halloween costume, school event, moments with grandparents & cousins, vacations and holidays. I also took up the hobby of scrapbooking and created albums for each of them, highlighting all of these special moments from birth to high school graduation. 

I had dreamed about starting a photography business & traveling after I retired from my primary career in Healthcare IT. But then the more I thought about it, I just realized I should not put off something I love to do & and why not start now on a part-time basis :) So in 2021, after taking photos for a family wedding in Florida and taking my nieces senior photos, I asked Sydnie if she would partner with me to start a side/part-time photography business and she said sure! This has been a great opportunity for her while she was a busy college student and so awesome that we get to spend this extra time together!

We are so thankful for our amazing clients that have been patient with us, knowing that we have other full time commitments and trusting us with capturing some of their most important life moments, we are truly blessed! I plan to continue photography on a part-time basis for the next 10-15 years and go full-time sometime after I retire from my primary job :) My photography dream would be to take on a couple of destination weddings per year, maybe traveling in our RV for a few of them, and to go on a fashion shoot trip, like one of my role models-she traveled to Costa Rica to take pictures for Free People, how awesome would that be!?
